Aaron Ebner, Executive Director and Founder

Aaron Ebner, founded The Andean Alliance for Sustainable Development along with Tina Novero, Adam Stieglitz, and Fabrizzio Garmendia. He is Vice president of The Becky Fund and has been working on development projects in the Sacred Valley since 2006. He received his bachelors in International Relations from Central Michigan University and holds a Masters in Public Administration from The Monterey Institute for International Studies (now the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey). At the Monterey Institute he founded Team Peru, a group of graduate students who work on a variety of development projects through the AASD. Aaron oversees dozens of graduate students throughout the year. Aaron spends most of his time working directly with the communities. Over the past ten years, he has developed a level of trust with indigenous communities that allows for a unique working relationship. He enjoys spending time in the mountains and appreciates the “tranquilo” pace of life.
