Though he never saw it coming, Chris has been working with the AASD since 2012 when he did his master’s practicum work with the first family greenhouse project in Maucau. Five years later he’s helping run the agriculture programs and is heavily involved in our experiential learning programs as well. His story and work with the organization reinforce the idea that working together we can achieve great things. Chris tries to highlight community perspectives internally and in our community work. While the bluegrass of Kentucky will always be home, he loves waking up in the Andes and he looks forward to a long and bright future working with the AASD and Peruvian communities.
