Juan was born and raised in Calca where the AASD office is based. Since he can remember, he has always had a passion for sustainable agriculture. Juan has worked for various NGOs related to agriculture in the Sacred Valley. Since late 2018, Juan has been with the AASD spreading his knowledge and being the link between agricultural initiatives. Juan speaks Quechua which enables him to understand more about the needs of the communities where the AASD works and how to best support them. During his free time, he enjoys participating in festivities on his dance team, drinking chicha during his breaks, and being a proud dog father.
