Kerri is a qualitative researcher and the Director of Experiential Learning at the AASD. She received her doctorate at the University of Florida and has conducted fieldwork in Cusco and the Sacred Valley since 2013. Her research addresses issues of globalization, social change, and environmental ethics within the Andean tourism landscape. Kerri is also an educator, with teaching experience across elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels in both classroom and field-based settings. She lives in the Sacred Valley and loves walking the canals above Calca, trekking with friends, and amusing local taxi drivers with Quechua exclamations.
