Who is this practicum for?
We are looking for students and professionals who are excited to learn and apply a powerful set of problem-solving and project-planning tools! While the focus of the program will be on applying these tools to community development in Peru, these tools can be easily and effectively applied in the future to various professional fields, such as international development, international education, local community development, public administration, and non-profit management.
When and where?
This practicum can take place anywhere with WIFI! We will be hosting two virtual programs during the 2020 Fall Semester.
This course is a commitment of ~20 hours per week. Participants will be expected to meet virtually 2x a week for 2 hours each session on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which is a total of 4 contact hours per week. Participants will be expected to work about an average of 16 hours per week outside of designated times on the course work, group work, and assignments. This course does focus on group work so it is important for participants to be flexible with meet up times and share their availability outside of the designated times at the beginning of the course.
